Southern Highland Wines has created a winery that is fresh, modern and spacious, where you can experience our award winning cool climate wines and mouth watering meals. Sample our selection of wines, tour through the winery, learn about wine making, relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the tantalising selection of produce.

Southern Highland Wines is owned and operated by three families: Rossi, Corradi and Colloridi. All families descend from Italian heritage. The group settled in the Highlands to create a high quality wine and food tourism facility based on cool climate viticulture and wine making. At our 83 acre Sutton Forest estate, we have 30 acres of vines planted and our 100 acre Canyonleigh vineyard is planted with 70 acres of vines.

Our cellar door is open every day for tastings and sales from 10am-5pm. The cellar door provides an exciting glimpse into the winemaking experience and can comfortably cater for groups. Floor to ceiling glass allows guests to view the day to day running of the winery whilst overlooking breathtaking vistas of rolling green hills, vines and crisp blue lakes with grazing cattle.

Situated in Sutton Forest on the Illawarra Highway, you will feel a million miles away, yet only a short 1.5 hour drive from Sydney or Canberra and a leisurely 50 minutes from Wollongong.

The extensive complex at Southern Highland Wines extends a warm welcome to all visitors. The cellar door is open for your discovery between 10.00am and 5.00pm every day, with the restaurant open for lunch Thursday to Sunday. Come and sample our wines with the assistance of one of our experienced staff members and taste the unique flavours of the Southern Highlands.

Australian Sauvignon Blanc wins best in the world at Hong Kong International Wine and Spirit Competition!

Southern Highland Wines, based in Suton Forest, New South Wales' emerging Southern Highlands wine region, have recently won several major awards for their locally produced wines. The accolades just keep on coming for their Oldbury Reserve 2010 Sauvignon Blanc. (including London International Wine and Spirit Competition, Oct 2010)

Wine Makers Dominic Bosch, Eddy Rossi and the Southern Highland Wines team are over the moon following their recent Trophy win which is the first time in history at any International wine competition, an Australian Sauvignon Blanc has won, rising above New Zealand.

Southern Highland Wines also took home a gold medal for the 2010 Oldbury Reserve with only two gold medals awarded for Sauvignon Blanc, the other being from the traditionally recognised home of Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand.

The Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International WIne and Spirit Competition sees a top class panel of Asia's most esteemed judges from China, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan assemble to acknowledge the world's best wines. Understandably, Southern Highland Wines are delighted with the recognition their 2010 Oldbury Reserve has received and invite you to enjoy the best,history making Sauvignon Blanc in the world!
