Experience the intimacy and warmth of the venue (“The Barn”) constructed in the traditional character of the 19th century knowing that you also have the technical support of today. This unique venue provides an ambience conducive to you achieving a successful outcome for your event. To add that extra experience to your event you will also enjoy the log fire warmth of the venue and unique seasonal flavours of the culinary delights prepared by the two resident chefs from the seasonal berries, fruits and vegetables of the working farm which surrounds the venue.
Clients from or visiting Sydney, Canberra and the Illawarra and surrounds find the venue a short driving distance through interesting countryside prior to experiencing what Montrose offers. Whatever the occasion; whether it be a technical conference for 160, a formal dinner for 120, cocktail party for 180, private cooking classes for 10, or a Devonshire tea or luncheon in the gardens for 20 or more then local seasonal fare is included in the menu when available so that you experience the true taste of the Southern Highlands. Montrose House (c1861) formal dining room is also available for up to 12 people for refined dining.
