    If You Love The Southern Highlands, You'll Love This Festival!

    Bowral is to stage the much anticipated Dan Murphy’s Food and Wine festival 2012 at Bong Bong Picnic Racecourse  from Saturday 3rd  – Sunday 4th March the first major event of it's kind celebrating the award winning food and wine, antiques and crafts  of the Southern Highlands Region and beyond. 

    This two day event is an extension of the existing Southern Highlands Wine Show (a Southern Highlands Food and Wine Inc.  Initiative) , an industry event which runs two days prior to the Festival.   Members of the public from the local Southern Highlands, adjoining NSW regions and further afield will be welcome to join the festivities and  up to 10,000 public attendees are anticipated to attend making this event the largest regional festival of its kind in NSW.

    The Festival itself will feature  130 market stalls, complimented by a  large undercover food court and culinary  demonstrations from the talented  head chefs of  award winning Southern Highlands  restaurants including Biota, Eschalot, Onesta Cuccina and Stones. Live musical entertainment and plenty of activities for children will also feature ,  and there will undoubtedly be  plenty to peruse, learn , taste and savour.
