OUR ROLE - Our team of very passionate and highly motivated staff love the Southern Highlands and understand all that it has to offer to Corporate clients. With over 20 years experience in the local area and after personally organising many conferences and events in the Southern Highlands,we have developed close relationships with businesses in the region and have a knowledge of the area that is second to none. The area has outstanding capabilities and we feel that the best way to experience the Southern Highlands, is to think outside the square and dare to do something different! Carla Offord,
Managing Director
Carla, the founder and Manging Director of SHCE has worked in the corporate and conference industry in the Southern Highlands for many years. Southern Highlands Corporate Events is the perfect marriage of Carla’s corporate and hospitality experience .With well established skills in new business development, corporate sales and event management she is able to drive corporate tourism and build strong relationships with both business partners and key corporate decision makers. Entrepreneurial by nature, she is passionate about the region and determined to make the Southern Highlands the most preferred regional conferencing and corporate events destination in NSW.

Kate Matheson,
Marketing and Communications
Kate has 15 years experience in the luxury hospitality, retail, television and public relations industries. Having spent the past seven years in London, she has a wealth of knowledge in the areas of strategic communications and new business development, having worked for companies such as The House of Fraser designer department store group and The Grove, an internationally renowned 5 star country estate. Kate has happily settled in the Southern Highlands and shares the entrepreneurial passion of The Southern Highlands Corporate Events team.

Emma Jenkins,
New Business Development
With over 12 years hospitality experience and an Honors degree in Hotel Business Management under her belt, UK born Emma, first made her mark by firmly putting the K West Hotel and Spa London on the entertainment map. Recognised for her strong relationships within the industry, she was head hunted by COMO Hotels and Resorts to manage the sales for the Metropolitan London. most recently Emma put her strong negotiation and destination selling skills to the test, representing the award winning, Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort and Spa within the Australian MICE market.

Jodie Laing,
Business Analyst
Jodie Laing of Balmoral 3rd Eye is a business advisor who has over 20 years experience in management including senior executive positions in a number of commercial operations such as General Manager, ESPE Australia, National Marketing Manager, Henry Schein Regional, CEO/Director Mediplan Healthcare Finance, Chief Operating Officer for the Regional Health Care Group and General Manager/Executive Director of Vectus Biosystems. Jodie is also a company director of a number of companies.
